NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Council of the Village of Chagrin Falls, Ohio at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 6, 2020 utilizing the Zoom virtual meeting format pursuant to Section 1111.06 of the Planning and Zoning Code whereby Council has been petitioned by three council members to review the decision of the Board of Zoning Appeals in denying an appeal to the action of the Planning and Zoning Commission in granting a lot consolidation request by Denis Marino on Solether Lane.  The following modification from the Planning and Zoning Commission is the original action in question:

  1. Section 1161.05(h)(4) Design Standards; Lots; Minimum Lot Depth.  No lot depth shall exceed four and one-half times the lot width or less than one and one-half times the width unless otherwise approved by the Commission.  The lot width shall be measured at the minimum building setback line.

In accordance with Sub. HB 197, this meeting will be held as a remote meeting.  No one will be in attendance at the Village Hall Council Chambers and the public is not permitted to access the Council Chambers during the meeting.  Access is available to the public only via telephone, YouTube, and through Zoom web conferencing.  Instructions on joining the meeting are listed here.
