PRESS RELEASE – TEMPORARY SIGNS
As election season approaches, the Village of Chagrin Falls is reminding residents and property owners that up to twelve (12) square feet of noncommercial temporary signage may be posted on a single property. Temporary signs must be removed before they show evidence of deterioration, dirt, damage or discoloration.
Also, temporary signs are not allowed at any time within five (5) feet of the right-of-way (tree lawn area) or any property line. Temporary signs placed within the right-of-way or on public property will be removed by Village personnel. The public right-of-way generally extends from the street to the house side of the sidewalk or approximately 10-15 feet from the edge of the street.
