NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Board of Zoning Appeals of the Village of Chagrin Falls at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 utilizing a virtual meeting format at the request of Brickhaus Partners for variances to the following items relating to the property at 180 Cleveland Street, Permanent Parcel No. 931-17-003:

  1. 1130.04(c) Area Regulations; Building Coverage
  2. 1130.06(c) Yard and Setback Regulations; Projection of Building Features into Setbacks.

In accordance with Sub. HB 197, this meeting will be held as a remote meeting.  No one will be in attendance at the Village Hall Council Chambers and the public is not permitted to access the Council Chambers during the meeting.  Access is available to the public only via telephone, YouTube, and through Zoom web conferencing.  Instructions on joining the meeting using these methods are listed on the village website at www.chagrin-falls.org  If you wish to view the project materials prior to the meeting, please contact Robert Jamieson, Chief Administrative Officer, at (440) 247-5050 or at rjamieson@chagrin-falls.org.

The public may appear remotely and speak and present written comments, or other documents given to the Chief Administrative Officer, at least three business days prior to the hearing, either by email at rjamieson@chagrin-falls.org , sending PDF format documents, or by delivering the documents to the Village using the drop box in front of  Village Hall addressed to the Chief Administrative Officer and noting that they are documents to be used in the hearing for 180 Cleveland Street on August 18, 2020.

Public Hearing – Council – Solether Lane (8/6, 7:00 PM)

July 14, 2020

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Council of the Village of Chagrin Falls, Ohio at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 6, 2020 utilizing the Zoom virtual meeting format pursuant to Section 1111.06 of the Planning and Zoning Code whereby Council has been petitioned by three council members to review the decision of the Board of Zoning Appeals in denying an appeal to the action of the Planning and Zoning Commission in granting a lot consolidation request by Denis Marino on Solether Lane.  The following modification from the Planning and Zoning Commission is the original action in question:

  1. Section 1161.05(h)(4) Design Standards; Lots; Minimum Lot Depth.  No lot depth shall exceed four and one-half times the lot width or less than one and one-half times the width unless otherwise approved by the Commission.  The lot width shall be measured at the minimum building setback line.

Public Hearing – BZA – 35 Maple Street (7/28, 7:30 PM)

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Board of Zoning Appeals of the Village of Chagrin Falls at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 utilizing a virtual meeting format at the request of Robb and Susan Junker, for a variance to Section 1145.02(b), Nonconforming Buildings and Structures, specifically at 35 Maple Street, Permanent Parcel No. 932-05-003.

In accordance with Sub. HB 197, this meeting will be held as a remote meeting. No one will be in attendance at the Village Hall Council Chambers and the public is not permitted to access the Council Chambers during the meeting. Access is available to the public only via telephone, YouTube and through Zoom web conferencing.
