[ARCHIVED] Spring Clean-up at Evergreen Hill Cemetery

Evergreen Hill Cemetery is conducting an annual spring clean-up including removal of wreaths and other seasonal decorations that have been left over the winter.  To maintain the beautiful appearance and natural environment of our serene and contemplative grounds, it is necessary to have limits on certain types of decorations.

While flower arrangements and other grave decorations are a popular way to honor friends and family that have passed, those items can become weathered and worn. Staff will be removing and disposing of holiday decorations, such as wreaths. Other non-holiday specific decorations will be removed if they are excessively worn or have been blown from the headstone.

For more information regarding decoration and landscaping of graves, read the Cemetery Rules and Regulations.
