Notice is hereby given pursuant to Sections 1109.05(B)(1)(b) & 1125.04 (A) (6) Review and Approval procedures of the Codified Ordinances of Chagrin Falls that a meeting will be held by the Architectural Board of Review, of the Village of Chagrin Falls, Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at 8:30 AM in a virtual meeting utilizing the Zoom platform.  

To hear a proposal: For demolition of existing accessory building & final approval of new accessory building.

In accordance with Sub. HB 197, this meeting will be held as a remote meeting, no one will be in attendance at the Village Council Chambers, and the public is not permitted to access the Council Chambers during the meeting. Access is available to the public only via telephone, YouTube and through Zoom web conferencing. Instructions on joining the meeting using these methods is listed on the village website at www.chagrin-falls.org.  If you wish to view the project plans prior to the meeting, please contact Harry Edwards, Building and Zoning Inspector, at (440) 247-5050 or at harry@chagrin-falls.org.  

If you wish to comment on this proposed project, you are encouraged to do so at the hearing and prior to the Architectural Board of Review’s action on the requested proposal. Please be advised there are limited circumstances for modification to a proposal once acted upon by the board. The appropriate time to comment on the proposal is at the time of the scheduled meeting referenced above.

Public Hearing – BZA – Solether Lane (11/11, 7:30 PM)

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Board of Zoning Appeals of the Village of Chagrin Falls at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 utilizing a virtual meeting format at the request of Denis Marino for a variance request and an administrative appeal to the following items relating to three parcels on Solether Lane, Permanent Parcel Nos. 931-09-038, 931-09-039, and a portion of 931-09-028:

  1. A Variance Request to Section 1125.03 Area, Yard, and Height Regulations: Main Buildings.
  • An Administrative Appeal to the decision of the Planning and Zoning Commission in approving a motion to deny the consolidation of three parcels into one parcel.

In accordance with Sub. HB 197, this meeting will be held as a remote meeting.  No one will be in attendance at the Village Hall Council Chambers and the public is not permitted to access the Council Chambers during the meeting.  Access is available to the public only via telephone, YouTube, and through Zoom web conferencing.  Instructions on joining the meeting using these methods are listed on the village website at www.chagrin-falls.org  If you wish to view the project materials prior to the meeting, please contact Robert Jamieson, Chief Administrative Officer, at (440) 247-2798 or at rjamieson@chagrin-falls.org.

The public may appear remotely and speak and present written comments, or other documents given to the Chief Administrative Officer at least three business days prior to the hearing, either by email at rjamieson@chagrin-falls.org, sending PDF format documents, or by delivering the documents to the Village using the drop box in front of Village Hall addressed to the Chief Administrative Officer and noting that they are documents to be used in the hearing for Solether Lane on November 11, 2020.
