A Few Updates From The Building Department

I have a few updates for residents:

1. Since the Artificial Plant Company is an icon here in the village (Gamekeepers & The Inn of Chagrin Falls), I thought I would pass along this information. You will start to see some construction activity, and the erection of scaffolding around the building in the coming weeks, and a dumpster on West Street, Snavely Company is general contractor, and will be doing some repair work to the exterior of the buildings, work entails roofing, and repairs to the exterior siding, (replacing one for one) no material changes, fixing some windows and a paint job. I am sure this will generate questions from the public – so now you know what’s going on! By the way  –  no, I do not know if they have a tenant, there has been no mention of that to me.

2. There is now a public Wi-Fi for the general public at village hall, it is separate from our other Wi-Fi.

to Section 1129.02(b)(1), Permitted Uses, and Section 1129.05(b), Yard and Buffer

Regulations, specifically at 5014 Nob Hill Drive, Permanent Parcel No. 932-24-009.

Public Hearing: Accessory Building Demolition 5014 Nob Hill Drive October 17th

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 1109.05(b) (1) (B) of the Codified Ordinances of Chagrin Falls that a meeting will be held by the Architectural Board of Review at 8:30 am on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 in the Council Chambers of Chagrin Falls Village Hall at 21 W. Washington Street, Chagrin Falls, OH 44022 to hear the proposal of demolition of an accessory building and proposal for a new accessory building at 5014 Nob Hill Drive, Chagrin Falls, OH 44022.  Permanent Parcel Number 932-24-009.

If you wish to comment on this project, you are encouraged to do so before the Architectural Board of Review’s initial approval of the project. Please be advised there are limited circumstances for modification of the proposal after initial approval.  The appropriate time to comment is at the meeting referenced above.

Public Hearing: Spillway Demolition Request Appeal

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Board of Zoning Appeals of the Village of Chagrin Falls at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 in the Council Chamber of the Chagrin Falls Village Hall 21 West Washington Street Chagrin Falls, Ohio at the request of Spillway LLC to appeal the decision of the Architectural Review Board in denying their request for demolition specifically at 218 Cleveland Street Permanent Parcel Nos. 931-15-016 and 931-17-001.
